Lift Landing

A lift landing refers to the area or space on each floor where passengers wait for the lift.

Lift Cabin

The lift cabin, also known as the lift car or elevator car, is the enclosed space where passengers stand or sit during their journey between floors. It also contains the Cabin Operating Panel (COP).

Landing Operating Panel (LOP)

The Landing Operating Panel (LOP) is a control panel typically located on each floor of a building, outside the lift. It allows users to call the lift to their current floor and select the desired direction of travel (up or down). The panel usually includes buttons for calling the lift and may display indicators showing the lift's current status or position.

Cabin Operating Panel (COP)

The Cabin Operating Panel (COP) is a control panel located inside the lift cabin. It allows passengers to select their destination floor and control other cabin functions such as door open/close, emergency alarm, and in some cases, options for priority access or service mode. The panel typically includes buttons for each floor, as well as indicators displaying the lift's current status and destination.
